DISPARU

I worked on Disparu with a team of five people for a school assignment at HKU. We were given a client assignment by UNEP. They asked us to make a game that empowers youth to take action on environmental problems. We were given 8 weeks to do the project. In this time we made a demo for our game. I worked on art direction, 3D modeling, 2D art, UI Design, characters (2D and 3D) and building the environment.

UI Design

I build our map using modular assets and props made by my teammate Randy and myself. I used the blockout our designer Jiska made as a base for the layout of the islands and buildings. I quickly added some VFX to make our world feel more alive, such as a water shader, smoke and falling trash.
